"When I lived in Mattoon, this was probably my favorite restaurant. It was right down the road from my house. I especially liked what they had on the buffet, but I don't think I got to the buffet often, mostly when it was on the weekends, I guess.

They also served Italian beef on the buffet in addition to a wide variety of pizzas, pasta and sauces. Service was always attentive, and the pizza itself is one of my favorites, although for the reason why, I can't say. It just seemed really authentic when compared to a lot of the chain pizzas out there, but with even more "oomph"."
